There is nothing more comfortable and authentic than taking photos at home

Often the hardest decision for my clients is where to take photos but like the saying goes, there's no place like home.

I still have my childhood home memorized. From the blue carpets to the weeping willow all the way down to the way it sounded on a Saturday morning, coffee cups clinking and bacon grease popping.

If you're still lucky enough to be able to visit your childhood home, I envy you. Because for myself and so many other, that place now only exist in our memories.

I encourage you to consider having your next family session at home. Encapsulate it all, the warmth of the fire, all your labors of love like the play set and the garden, do it for your children.
