Casual, low stress and actually enjoyable are my goals with every shoot. I take a very casual (child-led,) documentary style approach and I will encourage lots of playing, lots of hugging and very little discipline. I like my families to just be present and enjoy the time spent with their loved ones and leave feeling like they just had a fun night out and not a photoshoot!

When selecting your outfits, aim for earthy tones, natural fabrics, beautiful textures, and clothing that moves with you. Dressing yourselves in similar colors (i.e. one main color with varying shades) but in different textures (i.e. knitted, corduroy or linen) creates a lot of depth to the photos.

Above all, you should look and feel like yourself so choose something from your closet that is comfortable and that you feel great in!

I will include a styling guide in your client portal and will even put together a styling inspo board if you're interested!

All images are fully edited, high resolution, digital images with full social media and print release. I do not charge for extra photos so if I get more than the guaranteed amount (which usually I do) ALL will be available for download through the client portal. I will send sneaks within 72 hours and the full gallery will be ready within 3 weeks.

I want your photos to have that beautiful, golden glow that only the sun can give as much as you do. The weather is ever changing in this area so I like to make that call the day before- but if we need to reschedule I will make every effort to find a date and time the works for all.

I serve the Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach + Topsail Beach area. I am available for travel outside of this but do require a travel fee.
